Kakapo Parrots!

There is just around 100 Kakapo parrots left in the world. The Kakapo parrot lives in New Zealand. The Kakapo parrot can't fly, because of their weight, but they can climb very well. So it got no problem to get to the top of the trees and the Kakapo can actually glide down from the trees. The Kakapo eats grass, leaves, berries, fruits and they really like the leaves and the fruit in the top of the trees.

But i  really hope they can save this bird from getting extinct, because it's really cute and it would be a shame if such a rare animal would die out. One thing that maybe will help it to recover and get a bigger population is that they need to stop cutting down the forests there the Kakapo live.

    Thanks!
